Singing Cat & Mule
Biography

Susan Anthony-Tolbert is a retired Professor of Psychology. Currently, she spends her time “harping” at various events and celebrations in the Maryland and Virginia area. She and her husband share the tranquility of farm life with their much beloved horses, mule, Bassett hound and several cats. Susan began her musical training at the age of three and has studied piano, marimba and guitar as well as both lever and pedal harps with master musicians from Julliard and Curtis.

Initially, she was trained in composition and counterpoint by her father. In college, she completed courses and seminars in music theory, composition, and orchestration. Recently, she has competed in a number of music competitions both for performance and composition (even won a few). Her other harp CDs which also celebrate the land and waters of the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland and Virginia are available on cdbaby.com and amazon.com. They continue to sell well both nationally and locally.
